Since becoming a mother, I have acquired a skill akin to a super power. It is a skill I have improved with time and I am most proud of.
The time had come. The time for Baby Z to embark on his first flight abroad. Out of the place he knew to be home, Dubai, and into a closed cabin of cool temperature and strangers who would become support systems, where he was essentially locked into for the duration of a 7 hour plane journey. Oh the excitement was just unreal!
It has been just over a week since I returned back to England for my month long vacation after two years of being an expat in Dubai, and in so many ways, it is as if time has stood still. Returning back to Leicester, everything looks almost very much the same as it was when I had said good-bye two years ago.
We have a TON of photographss of Baby Z. More than a zillion. We are always clicking away, capturing little snippets and cheeky grins of Baby Z on camera. However, photos including all three of us (Mr Z, Baby Z and I) are few and far between. That is why when The Studio Dubai were kind enough to offer us a family photo shoot, I was ecstatic.
