If you follow me on Instagram, you will already know that earlier this month, Mr Z, Baby Z and I left for London, for 3 days of sightseeing, shopping and slurping tea. Below is a short account of our lovely trip to London City!
Since becoming a mother, I have acquired a skill akin to a super power. It is a skill I have improved with time and I am most proud of.
It has been just over a week since I returned back to England for my month long vacation after two years of being an expat in Dubai, and in so many ways, it is as if time has stood still. Returning back to Leicester, everything looks almost very much the same as it was when I had said good-bye two years ago.
Saturday morning myself, Mr Z and Baby Z set off on our long journey from Dubai to England, for our month long vacation. There was a mixture of excitement and nerves, as was to be expected, since it was Baby Z’s first ever flight of his lifetime! Eeek! Below I share with you what we wore for the 7 hour long plane journey!
We have a TON of photographss of Baby Z. More than a zillion. We are always clicking away, capturing little snippets and cheeky grins of Baby Z on camera. However, photos including all three of us (Mr Z, Baby Z and I) are few and far between. That is why when The Studio Dubai were kind enough to offer us a family photo shoot, I was ecstatic.

Last week I came across this article in the Leicester Mercury, by Raegan Oates, about the strange things she misses about Leicester, now that she has moved to Bulgaria. I could really relate to it, and I must admit I have been thinking of quite a few things I miss about Leicester too since my visit to England is in less than a week! Oh and if you haven’t already guessed, Leicester is indeed my hometown in England.
