Since becoming a mother, I have acquired a skill akin to a super power. It is a skill I have improved with time and I am most proud of.
It has been just over a week since I returned back to England for my month long vacation after two years of being an expat in Dubai, and in so many ways, it is as if time has stood still. Returning back to Leicester, everything looks almost very much the same as it was when I had said good-bye two years ago.

Eid Al Adha 2015 was yet another lovely family affair, spent eating food, food and more food. It began by eating bowls of Doodh Khurmo, followed by a home made lunch of delicious Daal Ghost, and ended with dinner at Kulcha King on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Baby Z was born and has been brought up in Dubai for the short 16 month span of his life. His paternal grandmother has been with us, here in Dubai, for the entire journey to date, and has been able to share and witness all the milestones, smiles and hugs that Baby Z has offered us. Continue reading
